Inclement Weather Policy
CHCPS follows the District of Columbia Public Schools? (DCPS) inclement weather policies. So, on a morning with snow on the ground, check out this website, listen to the radio or watch television to learn if DCPS is opening on time or at all.

Is Your Child Too Sick for School?

Weather Status
CHCPS follows the closing schedule for DC public schools for holidays, snow days and the like. Therefore, if DC public schools are cancelled or have a two-hour delay for inclement weather, then the playschool is closed. DCPS half-days do not affect the playschool schedule.
