By Eveline Shum
January 17, 2002

You're in charge of the activity tomorrow. You're asking yourself: What am I going to do with ten two year-olds? To get your creative juices flowing, here are some of the successful activities coordinated by parents during the fall.

  1. Gluing beans and dried pasta.
  2. Decorating cookies with sprinkles and frosting.
  3. Finger painting.
  4. Gluing feathers to a mask.
  5. Playing in the church play yard.
  6. Placing eyes, nose, mouth on paper plates.
  7. Pin the "nose" on the clown (similar to pin the "tail on the donkey").
  8. Playdough.
  9. Making puppets from paper bags.
  10. Making and wearing paper crowns and hats.

In need of more ideas? See the article More Ideas for Playschool Activities or review one of several reference books on early childhood activities are located on the shelves in the Playschool. Check them out.
