SUN POWER

"Energy in the Garden"

During the school year 2001-2002, the Peabody Early Childhood Center in partnership with the Discovery Creek Children's Museum and the National Wildlife Federation Schoolyard Habitat program have been exploring "energy in the garden".  This project is sponsored by UNISYS Corporation, the Franklin Institute of Science and the American Association for the Advancement of Science, all of whom we thank for making this partnership possible!

The sun provides us the energy we need for heat and light and most importantly, that the plants need to make their own food -- thus a source for our own energy.  Please step into our  garden, as  represented by one of our talented five year old artists, and follow our pathway to learning about "sun power".
